It's a nice climb, starting in houses after the traffic lights but climbing into woods, and then out into open common at the top. It's a nice climb, starting in houses after the traffic lights but climbing into woods, and then out into open common at the top. The steep part feels steep, and it goes on a bit longer than you wanted it to, but it's short enough that you can power through it. A good route into the Chilterns from the Hemel area.
