Nice climb! Not very exciting. Good road surface but especially very busy in the summer months
with tourist traffic
Leuke klim!
The main road to the pass is wide and quite busy. Partly even 2+1 lane to be able to overtake slow traffic. Cycling on these kind of B-roads is not my preference. From the village to the top it becomes a smaller traffic free road. Lots of hikers and e-bikers. Nice if you want to reach the highest point in the Black Forest, but there are much nicer climbs here.
In icy rain we drove up on a wide road with beautiful tarmac. It is the highest point in the area, but otherwise not really warm memories of...
Only really heavy if you drive the parking lot and the Franz Klarmeyerweg takes to the absolute top. Last piece of road is really steep.
Laatste stuk weg is echt heel steil.
