Tough but worth it for the views and the quietness.
Nice climb, very steep, around a 10% almost all the way. Very quiet, almost no cars nor bikes. In weekends is pretty busy with people walking so the descend specially is quite tricky as you need to be extra careful with the people in the road. Also the road is so narrow in some places that only a car will fit, and the cars will need to wait to pass you to a more wide section, also this makes almost impossible to "attack" the downhill, as you need to be extra careful with people and cars and everything. Anyways is s nice climb, views are stunning and well worth a detour.
The road surface up to the es Verger restaurant has been redone beautifully recently. This has transformed the climb into one of the best in Mallorca for road bikes. Only downside is probably more motorists but still pretty quiet. Tougher than the average Mallorcan climb but pretty steady 8% with no real ramps apart from on inside of hairpins. Scenery is spectacular.
