One of my favourite passes on the island. Very little traffic.
Einer meiner Lieblingspässe auf der Insel. Wenig Verkehr.
Beautiful, hidden gem of Mallorca. Must have done
Prachtig, hidden gem van Mallorca. Moet je gedaan hebben
It's a small pass with very little traffic, some very nice sections and great views - in short, I loved it. Don't miss a visit to Arta on the way back.
It was a nice climb and there were very few cars around. If you're already in the corner of the island, it's really worthwhile.
One of the nicest climbs on the island atmosphere wise, peaceful and beautiful. Worthwhile to go down to the monastery although there are no services. Good cafe at the start of the climb in Arta Santuari de Sant Salvador. Recommended cycling back towards Alcudia/PP via PMV-2034 and other backroads to Petra. MA-12 is not bad but boring.
Highly recommended! Beautiful climb, with great views. In warm weather, an ideal sea breeze in your flank, back or on your snout.
Aanrader!
Nice little climb to do if you're in that corner of Mallorca. In itself a nice road to a monastery/church at the end (after another bit of downhill) - this is the only road, so you do have to go there and back via that road. Unfortunately, this is so for cars's too, and that is immediately the downside. In many places, the road is far too narrow to drive nicely when a car has to pass every minute.
