As already mentioned very quiet. This climb already starts in Mechelen itself and there you have to go up a bit. Then it levels off. Outside Mechelen the road starts to climb again and the landscape unfolds with the church of Vijlen in the distance. It's a nice climb and the road curves nicely. At the end we made 65 altitude meters.

Daarna vlakt het af Buiten Mechelen gaat de weg weer iets stijgen en ontvouwd zich het landschap met de kerk van Vijlen in de verte. Het kabbelt lekker omhoog en de weg slingert mooi. Op het eind dan toch weer 65 hoogtemeters gemaakt.

Lekker rustig, alleen een paar wandelaars. Ik had nergens door dat ik echt aan het klimmen was, een paar iets steilere stukjes, maar vooral rustig vals plat omhoog.
Kleeberg, Hurpesch, Elzeterberg and actually also Bommerigerweg climb to the same point. The surroundings are beautiful and very quiet, so which variant you take doesn't matter that much. I myself have a slight preference for Hurpetsch and Bommerigerweg which connects to it.
Kleeberg, Hurpesch, Elzeterberg en eigenlijk ook Bommerigerweg klimmen tot hetzelfde punt. De omgeving is schitterend en heel rustig, dus welke variant je neemt maakt niet zo heel veel uit. Zelf heb ik een lichte voorkeur voor Hurpetsch en Bommerigerweg die daar op aansluit.
