Long climb on the wide through road - with not much traffic but sometimes truck traffic - to Elsenborn. In May 2022 the road was undergoing maintenance so the asphalt has been/is being partly replaced. From the valley of the Warche the road ascends in some steep curves with sometimes a view to the rear. Further on, the road continues in a straight line until Elsenborn but because the road is quite undulating (with some descents as well) it doesn't get too boring. However, there are better ways to get to Elsenborn.
