Also from this side the climb to the Teide is very beautiful and very different from the west side from Los Gigantes. From Granadilla on, the road gets more winding and you get to see more of the trees. This remains so after Vilaflor all the way to the top of the crater rim. Then you descend into the Teide National Park and the scenery changes completely. All you see are rocks, lava rocks and of course the volcano Teide. Good road surface everywhere. In the winter bring some clothing against the cold at the top and for the descent.

Dit blijft zo voorbij Vilaflor helemaal tot je bovenaan de kraterrand bent. Daarna daal je af het nationaal park Teide in en verandert de omgeving compleet. Je ziet dan alleen nog rotsen, lavagesteente en natuurlijk de vulkaan Teide. Goed wegdek overal. In de winter zeker kleding meenemen tegen de kou boven en voor in de afdaling.
