Fantastic climb! It is a narrow road that stops at the Eisenkappler Hütte, and therefore there is very little traffic on the way (I encountered less than 10 autos, in the middle of a sunny day at the weekend). The asphalt is not good everywhere, and this is sometimes a bit annoying on the descent, but otherwise there is nothing negative to mention. Along the way, you almost always have beautiful views of the Karawanken mountains. At the top, you can get something to eat and drink at the hut, which is probably necessary as the climb is not light.
Fantastische klim! Het is een smal weggetje dat stopt bij de Eisenkappler Hütte, en daarom is er maar weinig verkeer onderweg (ik kwam minder dan 10 autos tegen, midden op een zonnige dag in het weekend). Het asfalt is niet overal goed, en dat is in de afdaling soms wat vervelend, maar verder is er niets negatiefs te noemen. Onderweg heb je vrijwel steeds mooi uitzicht op de Karawanken. Boven kan je wat eten en drinken bij de hut, en dat is wellicht nodig, want de klim is niet licht.
