Het eerste deel gaat over een grote doorgaande weg dus niet bijzonder, maar als je eenmaal rechtsaf het bos indraait fiets je een oase van rust tegemoet! Over een smal autovrij pad fiets je in een lommerrijke omgeving via een paar haarspeldbochten naar de top waar een 'Einkehrshaus' staat waar je op bepaalde dagen ook voor een drankje terecht kunt.
