I should've known better, having visited Hampstead Heath in the past, and experienced the volume of traffic that uses this road, to access the car parks, and possibly to avoid even worse traffic on the main road. I was frustrated by this climb, due to the amount of traffic on it, and the long queue of stationary traffic at the top that I could ride past, but which somewhat cramped my style. But if you could find a quiet time, in the early morning or evening, then it's a good climb. Nice steady gradient with one steeper section, and with the Heath on one side.
