Eerst daal je wat af om vervolgens aan deze klim te beginnen en Montzen in te rijden. Op de splitsing met Rue de la Gare hou je rechts aan. T.h.v. witte "2 onder een kap" huizen rechts van de weg ben je op de top.
As a separate climb it is not much fun (therefore only 2 stars) but fortunately you normally do it in combination with a climb from Moresnet or Plombières and then it is a nice addition. Especially the first part, because you approach it over a kind of ridge with a view and then it climbs nicely up towards the houses. In the built-up area it becomes flat for a while but at the end it rises again. At the T-junction keep right for the last altimeters and again some views. Good tarmac.
Small tip: After reaching the houses after the first rising part you can turn left, that's a nice narrow road to Montzen.
Als losse klim is niet niet veel soeps (daarom ook maar 2 sterren) maar gelukkig doe je deze normaal gezien altijd in combinatie met een klim vanuit Moresnet of Plombières en dan is het een leuke aanvulling. Vooral het eerste deel want je komt aanrijden over een soort kam met uitzicht en daarna stijgt het even leuk omhoog richting de huizen. In de bebouwde kom wordt het een tijdje vlak maar op het eind stijgt het weer. Op de T-splitsing rechts aanhouden voor de laatste hoogtemeters en weer wat uitzicht. Goed asfalt.
Kleine tip: Na het bereiken van de huizen na het eerste stijgende deel kan je linksaf, da's een mooi smal weggetje naar Montzen.
