Nice climb, first through a green residential area and then along a gravel bike path into the beautiful forest. Little sensational in terms of gradient. It does get a little steeper on the last bit (after the wild grid) but then you are talking about a few metres.

An excellent alternative to the always busy cycle path along Amersfoortseweg to climb the Zonheuvel from Doorn. You have to go through Doorn (at least, if you come from Leersum), but you get something in return.
Be careful when you come to a sort of junction with the Beatrixlaan: it is straight ahead here. A little later you enter a narrow bike path that winds through the forest. There are some nasty tree roots in the path...
Via a right-angled bend, you cycle to Amersfoortseweg and then you take the last few metres of the Zonheuvel.
