A very nice climb with good road surface except in the village of Vagna. It starts with 2 km at 7% not particularly steep, then after a small descent there is a wall at 13%, and then there is a km at 11% where after a new bridge the gradients are very steep. After Andosso the slopes descend to 9% for 3 km and after a hairpin bend there is a wall at 10% and then the slopes descend to the finish line. However I recommend it... read more

Up to Vagna, the climb is fairly easy, excluding the little tear of the cemetery. From the area of the Festa degli Alpini onwards it becomes challenging, at times quite a lot. Reaching the top is a great satisfaction, especially now that the parking lot has been paved and the facilities renovated. There is a bar, a restaurant and soon a hotel (it seems).
It' a classic for a challenging workout even after work.
To be avoided on weekends, when the lifts are open the traffic becomes quite heavy.
