Niet te moeilijke klim van ruim 1 kilometer in het buitengebied tussen Bingelrade en Doenrade. De eerste 600 meter loopt op als vals plat. Daarna volgt een wat steiler middenstuk. Het laatste deel tot de top is vervolgens weer vals plat. In oogsttijd kan de weg vuil zijn van modder/gewasresten.
Not very challenging but still a nice climb. First over a (well laid out) clinker road along some houses and then a narrow asphalt road through a hollow. From the top nice view to the rear. Reasonable tarmac but the road can be dirty.
NB: Halfway through the hollow road there is an obstacle (pig's backs). There is a warning sign but you see it only briefly in advance and it is right before the obstacle, which is also poorly visible. So pay attention when you descend this road. In the climb you have less trouble because then you have a lower speed.
Niet heel uitdagende maar toch leuke klim. Eerst over een (goed gelegde) klinkerweg langs enkele huizen en daarna een smal asfaltweggetje door een holle weg. Van bovenaf aardig uitzicht naar achteren. Redelijk asfalt maar de weg kan vies zijn.
NB: Halverwege de holle weg is een obstakel (varkensruggen). Er staat een waarschuwingsbord maar die zie je maar kort van te voren én staat vlak voor het obstakel, dat ook nog slecht zichtbaar is. Goed op letten dus als je deze weg afdaalt. In de klim heb je er minder last van want dan heb je een lagere snelheid.
