Peaceful climb on a concrete bike path along a wide through (but not too busy) road. Not very inspiring and it takes a long time before the climb becomes a real climb. There are much nicer alternatives in the immediate vicinity.
Rustige klim over een betonfietspad langs een brede doorgaande (maar niet al te drukke) weg. Weinig inspirerend en het duurt lang voordat de klim "echt" een klim wordt. Er zijn veel mooiere alternatieven in de directe omgeving.
Not exactly a climb where you do it for. There is a nicer option to cycle from Jabeek to Doenrade. At the roundabout take the Groeneweg towards Bingelrade and at the end of the road continue on the Winkelpaadje (left of crucifix) and Viel. This also brings you to Doenrade. Another possibility is to cycle via the German Hillensberg to Doenrade. Because of the climb in Hillensberg also worthwhile.
Niet bepaald een klim waar je het voor doet. Er is een mooiere optie om van Jabeek naar Doenrade te fietsen. Pak bij de rotonde de Groeneweg richting Bingelrade en ga aan het eind van de weg verder over het Winkelpaadje (links van kruisbeeld) en Viel. Zo kom je ook in Doenrade. Andere mogelijkheid is om via het Duitse Hillensberg naar Doenrade te fietsen. Vanwege de klim in Hillensberg ook de moeite waard.
