A "sweet" climb. Not so much because of the gradient because apart from the start it is minimal, but you ride along a nice little road to the mill at the top and there a beautiful and slightly undulating landscape unfolds (if there is no corn). Largest part is asphalt, at the mill it becomes cobblestones.

Discovered by chance on the way back. The climb starts unsuspectingly in a residential area just behind the shopping centre, where you suddenly climb a nice percentage (4%) (for Heuvelrug Noord standards). After the railway crossing, the landscape changes. You end up on the Soester Eng; on top of the hill, in the middle of Soest, rolling farmland. This is reminiscent of South Limburg (which also has such rolling farmland). From here, it is a runner on an incline until the crossroads and windmill De Windhond.

If you are in the neighbourhood, definitely worth a visit :-)
