This one really lives up to its name: if you drive back north from the Flemish Ardennes, you should always take this one. When you don't see any oncoming traffic (you have a good view on that) you can already pick up the speed you need to 'Flame' up this one. Without some running speed you will have to downshift on the steepest part. The small spur is a bit of a challenge!
Deze heeft zijn naam niet gestolen: als je uit de Vlaamse Ardennen terug naar het noorden rijdt moet je deze altijd meepikken. Als je geen tegenligger ziet komen (je hebt daar goed zicht op) kan je al de snelheid pakken die je nodig hebt om deze naar boven te 'Vlamme'. Zonder wat aanloopsnelheid zal je fel moeten terugschakelen op het steilste stuk. De kleine uitloper is even doorbijten!
Nice climb!!!!! If you descend after that the first part immediately starts to 10％ when that is done you are basically at the top.
Leuke klim!!!!! Als je afdaalt gaat daarna het eerste deel meteen beginnen aan 10％ als dat gedaan is ben je in principe boven.
