Korte doodlopende weg (of je moet onverhard verder willen fietsen) maar toch best een aangenaam klimmetje met mooi verloop en bovenaan uitzicht. De klim eindigt vlak bij een IJsboerderij.

You're not really beat when you cycle up here. This dead end road leads to a small campground and some farms and is especially worthwhile for the views. What you don't see from the Third Avenue is that after passing the first houses on the left, you can grab a few more altitude meters by taking a left turn at the junction. At the top there is also a small sign about an American soldier who died during one of the first days of Market Garden.

Je bent niet echt de klos als je hier omhoog fietst. Deze doodlopende weg loopt naar een kleine camping en wat boerderijen en is vooral de moeite waard voor het uitzicht. Wat je vanaf de Derdebaan niet ziet is dat je na het passeren van de eerste huizen links nog een paar hoogtemeters kan pakken door een bocht naar links te nemen bij de kruising. Op de top staat ook nog een klein bordje over een Amerikaans soldaat die tijdens een van de eerste dagen van Market Garden is gesneuveld.
