Irregular climb through the dunes. Nice views. Surface is cobblestones, but laid neatly. During the F1 weekend in Zandvoort, it's better to avoid this road because then all the fans use it.
Onregelmatige klim door de duinen. Mooie uitzichten. Ondergrond is klinkers, maar liggen netjes strak gelegd. In het F1 weekend in Zandvoort kun je deze weg beter mijden want dan gebruiken alle fans deze weg.
You won't find a nicer route from Zandvoort towards Haarlem, away from the provincial route you drive parallel to the train track through the Kennemer dunes.
Een mooiere route vanuit Zandvoort richting Haarlem vind je niet, weg van de provinciale route rijd je parallel aan de treinbaan door de Kennemerduinen.
A climb it is not, but fun to do. The rolling nature, the dunes on either side and the faint turns give it a bit of a roller coaster feel with a good bit of speed. Especially fun to do some short intense intervals. Be careful though, can be busy with other bike traffic and pedestrians.
Een klim is het niet, maar wel leuk om te doen. Het glooiende karakter, de duinen aan weerszijden en de flauwe bochten geven het met goed wat snelheid een beetje een achtbaangevoel. Vooral leuk om wat korte intensieve interval op te doen. Pas wel op, kan druk zijn met overig fietsverkeer en voetgangers.
Beautiful undulating dune road parallel to the railway. Doesn't really feel like climbing, so do it for the surroundings.
Mooie glooiende duinweg parallel aan het spoor. Voelt niet echt als klimmen, dus vooral doen voor de omgeving.
