Uninteresting climb. The road is in good condition, a little gravelly.
There are a few cars going up to nearby Mont Saint Michel.
The eastern part of the route runs through the forest from St-Jean-Saverne. The place signposted Croix de Langerthal does not offer any views: it's a crossroads for footpaths. Beautiful autumn colours, however.
The highest point of the hump is a little higher (500m away), but is also completely in the forest (Mt Saint-Michel offers a view of Saverne).
No particular interest, unless you absolutely want to tick the box...
If you're in the area, try the Haut Barr climb (south-west of Saverne) instead, which is of similar difficulty and much prettier with the finish at the château.
