Try and take this climb on a sunny day as the area is very picturesque and has only very light traffic. The gradient begins to increase just after the entrance to RHS Hyde Hall and as the road disappears into the trees the gradient increases quite sharply. There are a couple of nice s-bends that go with this climb and these take you through the trees and on to the summit. You’ll probably need to get out of your seat to conquer this climb, even though it’s fairly short - so kudos to all those that give it a go.
