Beautiful road up from the valley floor. It starts with hairpins into a little village with some 10% pitches. From there pretty consistent all the way up to Crans Montana, it eases through Lens and then you can make a final push to the summit. You get plenty of views back into the valley in the first half of the climb so you really get a sense of just how far you’ve climbed. Quiet roads when I did it in mid-September there was very little traffic. This is also a cracking road to descend.
