So then you cycle at your leisure through the flat valley towards Saphoz and suddenly you turn right and bump into a wall. Petit surprise next to all the runners in this area. This really is a tough climb and also pretty damn long. The reward is worth it though, you toil yourself up to a plateau called Petit Finlande because there are supposedly 10,000 lakes, just like in Finland. I didn't count that many, but there are a lot of them. You also have a view of the Ballon d'Alsace there, by the way.

Dus dan fiets je op je gemakkie door het vlakke dal richting Saphoz en ineens draai je naar rechts en bots je tegen een muur op. Petit surprise naast al die lopers in dit gebied. Dit is echt wel een zware beklimming en ook nog verdraaid lang. De beloning is er wel naar trouwens, je zwoegt jezelf naar een plateau dat Petit Finlande heet omdat er net als in Finland 10.000 meren zouden zijn. Zoveel heb ik er niet geteld, maar het zijn er wel enorm veel. Je hebt er ook uitzicht op de Ballon d'Alsace trouwens.
