I climbed this hill during my holiday in June. There is a touch of the Vosges in this climb with beautiful vegetation. The calm reigns supreme and I was able to refresh myself a little thanks to the small waterfall that you come across in the middle of the climb. Quite nice for those who want to feel alone in the world.

The climb starts after a bridge over the Madrange stream in a fairly sharp bend. The road climbs through dense vegetation. The surface is a coarse-grained macadam which makes the climb more difficult. Higher up, in a bend, a small waterfall can be heard in the vegetation and below the road the scenery changes as you go round the bends. Once you arrive at a place called Les Rivières, you can extend the climb by another 2 kilometres by heading for the village of Madrange.
