This long climb takes in its entirety the provincial N30 road. The road is well maintained and traffic is not too bad, closer to Liège it is busier. Around Aywaille most of the traffic spreads out, so that makes a difference. The climb is not very difficult, not particularly interesting and especially quite long. A good preparation for the high mountains, as we do not encounter this length in the Netherlands. Those looking to the left are treated to pleasant views over the Ardennes. In betwe... read more

In between there is a short descent, after which the road continues. At long last you cross the E25 via a viaduct.

Those who do not fancy this relatively busy road do well to take the Cote de Kin in Aywaille. After that, continuing on brings you along the E25 again.
