Nice climb in beautiful surroundings. If you ride back to Ligneuville at the top, it is easy to fit it in as an extra loop in any route.
Mooie klim in een prachtige omgeving. Als je boven weer terug rijdt naar Ligneuville is het prima als extra lusje in elke route in te passen.
Steady climb, first between houses and then in the middle of meadows. First 900 meters on average above 10％. Outside the village, also a steep bit, then it flattens out a bit. Nice views in all directions at the top.
Stevige klim, eerst tussen huizen en daarna temidden van weilanden. Eerste 900 meter gemiddeld boven de 10％. Buiten het dorpje ook nog een steil stukje, daarna vlakt het wat af. Boven mooie uitzichten alle kanten op.
Fairly straightforward wall. The first 900 meters are continuously steep, but without extreme percentages in between. At the top, it's nicely open and you're treated to views in all directions, as well as the shade of a few trees. This climb was in Liège-Bastogne-Liège in 2017 and 2018 due to roadworks in Stavelot, so they couldn't cross the Wanne and Stockeu.
Redelijk rechttoe, rechtaan muurtje. De eerste 900 meter lopen continu goed steil door, maar zonder extreme percentages tussendoor. Bovenin is het mooi open en wordt je getrakteerd op uitzicht in alle richtingen, maar ook de schaduw van een paar bomen. Deze klim zat in 2017 en 2018 in Luik-Bastenaken-Luik vanwege wegwerkzaamheden in Stavelot, zodat ze niet over de Wanne en Stockeu konden.
