Tough thing this haha. The steep middle section is a bit dull because of the buildings but the last part totally makes up for that. Challenging climb with plenty of spots to get on well-earned rest, but that also means you never get into a nice rhythm haha.
Taai ding dit haha. Het steile middenstuk is wat saai door de bebouwing maar het laatste deel maakt dat helemaal goed. Uitdagende klim met voldoende plekken om op welverdiende rust te komen, maar daardoor kom je ook nooit in een lekker ritme haha.

Leuke klim om te doen, gevarieerd en meestal met weinig verkeer. prima te verteren klim voor ieder met wat basis conditie
Beautiful but tricky climb. Especially the steep middle section hurts. You can also see the steep section hundreds of metres ahead of you when you turn left at the church.
At the 2nd flat section keep left, then you are presented with another small wall. At the top, a very nice view of the area!

Mooie maar lastige klim. Vooral het steile middenstuk doet pijn. Je ziet het steile stuk ook honderden meters voor je uit liggen als je aan de kerk linksaf draait.
Aan het 2de vlakke stuk links aanhouden, dan krijg je nog een klein muurtje gepresenteerd. Op de top een heel mooi uitzicht over de omgeving!
Zeker doen als je in de buurt bent!
I drove up this pearl on my way to Huy after spending a weekend in Durbuy. A beautiful three-stage rocket, where at the first stage you almost regret having started. So stomp your way up and try to enjoy the last part (Rue Sir Hugh Fraser or Lovat)! Definitely take it if you're in the neighborhood!
Deze parel opgereden op weg richting Huy na een weekendje in Durbuy vertoeft te hebben. Een prachtige drietrapsraket, waarbij je bij de eerste trap al bijna spijt hebt dat je eraan begonnen bent. Naar boven stoempen dus en vooral het laatste stuk (de Rue Sir Hugh Fraser of Lovat) proberen wat te genieten! Zeker meenemen als je in de buurt bent!
Rode this stunner uphill last weekend. The very bad weather didn't help at all here, but even in warm and dry conditions, this wouldn't be a piece of cake. Very heavy climb that starts firmly. You'll get a short moment to relax, but as soon as you turn left at the church it's back to pedaling again. Keep to the left, and you'll get a nice uphill spur. It's not easy to find a more difficult trail in this area.
Vorig weekend deze kanjer naar boven gereden. Het héél slechte weer hielp allesbehalve hier, maar zelfs in warme en droge omstandigheden zou dit geen makkie zijn. Zéér zware klim die meteen stevig begint. Je krijgt ook wel snel een kort moment om even bij te komen, maar zodra je aan de kerk links opdraait is het terug stoempen. Blijf ook links volgen, dan krijg je nog een leuke uitloper bergop. Véél moeilijker ga je niet snel vinden in de omgeving.

This climb starts via Rue du Moulin and continues all the way up to the monument of Major H. Fraser of Lovat. This variation is, in my opinion, the most beautiful and toughest version.
Deze klim start via de Rue du Moulin en loopt door tot gans boven aan het monument van Major H. Fraser of Lovat. Deze variatie is mijn insziens de mooiste en zwaarste versie.
I did this climb recently. Indeed the toughest climb in the immediate area. Incidentally, this climb has a very vicious tail. At the top of the climb you keep to the left, so that on the 'Rue Sir Hugh Fraser of Lovat' you get another stretch of 500 metres a 10% average. At the monument on top is the real end of this climb.
Deze klim heb ik onlangs nog gedaan. Inderdaad de zwaarste klim in de directe omgeving. Overigens kent deze klim een zeer venijnige staart. Bovenaan de klim houd je links aan, zodat je op de 'Rue Sir Hugh Fraser of Lovat' nog een stuk van 500 meter a 10% gemiddeld krijgt. Bij het monument bovenop is het echte einde van deze klim.
Undoubtedly the toughest climb in the immediate area, but well worth it!
Ongetwijfeld de zwaarste klim in de directe omgeving, maar zeker de moeite waard!
