Everything happens in the beginning of the hill with some hard passage in % but out of the village it's a road between two fields more rolling and less pleasant.
Nameche is a gap on the Meuse and the climb out of this gap is not even that unkind at the start. The tarmac is tiptop and there is a real hairpin bend in it. There are also cars and I was lucky it was quiet, but it can be quite busy here. After the hairpin, though, the fun wears off and you follow a dreary N-road until you reach the top. It is an efficient way to get away from the Meuse River though, helped by the good tarmac!
