Short climb starts on the Meuse bank curving up through the village with several hectometres of double digit grades.
Then turns into nice climbing concrete track in the forest that levels out on an open plateau with wide views of the Meuse valley.
There are 2 short descents along the way.
Road surface fine and no traffic!

The start of this climb is on the banks of the Meuse, in the village. The road then rises, quite steeply at first, before leaving the village and heading into the forest. Little traffic, road in good condition

After a charming bend in the narrow lanes of the village centre, you suddenly find yourself on an uninspiring concrete slab track. Deceptively so, because in a way this stretch seems to go up less than it actually does. The beautiful view of the Meuse valley offers consolation. I descended in the direction of Château de Freÿr, which seemed nicer to me as a climb (a bit greener and more winding, but the road surface is not that bad). If you have the choice, I would say: climb from Châteu de Freÿr, and descend in the direction of Waulsort, but close the brakes as soon as you get to the village. (Observation on 14th April 2021)
