A challenging coastline when you're just starting out. Quite busy in the evening. Shady, but doesn't offer any special views on the way up.
Côte challengeante lorsque l'on débute. Assez fréquentée en soirée. Ombragée mais n'offre pas de point de vue particulier durant l'ascension.
Above all, it's the road that leads from the Var valley to Vence and Le Bar sur Loup. More a stage than a real climb.
The road is clean. The gradient is slight.
A quiet, ordinary road.
You drive between the thousands of houses that dot the hinterland of Nice.

Gattières is a hilltop village, but without any charm other than that of being hilltop.
Avant tout, c’est la route qui conduit de la vallée du Var à Vence et à Le Bar sur Loup. Plus une étape qu’une véritable ascension.
La route est propre. Le dénivelé est léger.
Une route sage et bien ordinaire.
On roule entre les milliers de maisons qui colonisent l’arrière pays niçois.
Et leurs propriétaires ont des véhicules et ils s’en servent…
Gattières est un village perché mais sans autre charme que celui d’être perché.
