Beautiful and long climb of over 3½ km through a quiet area. The climb starts after a descent from Wadeleux and goes up to Charneux via Les Fawes. Halfway between Charneux and the summit on Rue de Maestricht you get a few hundred metres of steeper section but this does not really make the climb difficult. Privôt and Côte de Bouxhmont are a western and eastern alternative to this climb.
Mooie en lange klim van ruim 3½ km door een rustig gebied. De klim begint na een afdaling van Wadeleux en gaat via Les Fawes omhoog naar Charneux. Halfverwege Charneux en de top op Rue de Maestricht krijg je een paar honderd meter een wat steiler stuk maar echt moeilijk wordt de klim daardoor niet. Privôt en Côte de Bouxhmont zijn een westelijk en oostelijk alternatief voor deze klim.
Long gentle climb that starts and ends in greenery. In between, a long stretch of ribbon development with two steeper sections in it (as you enter the village and as you leave the houses behind you again). Straight ahead all the time so that's easy. Fine asphalt.
Lange rustige klim die begint en eindigt in het groen. Daartussen een lang stuk lintbebouwing met twee steilere stukken er in (als je het dorp in rijdt en als je de huizen weer achter je laat). Alsmaar rechtdoor dus da's makkelijk. Prima asfalt.
Nice and quiet. Combined with the Asse that you can take shortly before it, it is quite a challenge. Excluding a short descent in between, you arrive at a climb of 4.6 km at 4.1％ average, of which over 1.5 km at > 6％.
Mooi en rustig. Gecombineerd met de Asse die je er kort voor kan pakken, is het best een leuke uitdaging. Exclusief een kort stukje dalen ertussen kom je dan op een klimmetje van 4,6 km à 4,1％ gemiddeld, waarvan ruim 1,5 km à > 6％.
Rather large track with a long ascent. Good if you are with a large group (or as a descent), but for climbing the parallel Côte de Bouxhmont is much nicer.
Vrij grote baan die vrij lang stijgt. Goed als je met een grote groep bent (of als afdaling), maar om te klimmen is de parallelle Côte de Bouxhmont veel mooier.
