Nice steady climb which isn't that hard. The state of the road is really getting worse every year though. It's fine as long as you are going up as you aren't going that fast.

The state of the road on the first part (up to Bérimesnil) is frankly deplorable for a road cyclist! Patches of asphalt all over the place make the climb particularly bumpy, and you spend your time hopping around on your saddle. The second part, however, is in much better condition. Be careful to save your energy for this part, as the wind can be wickedly unfavourable.

L'état de la route de la première partie (jusqu'à Bérimesnil) est franchement déplorable pour un cycliste routier ! Des rustines d'asphalte un peu partout rendent l'ascension particulièrement cahoteuse, on passe son temps à sautiller sur sa selle. La seconde partie est en revanche en bien meilleur état. Attention à s'économiser pour cette partie-là, le vent peut être méchamment défavorable.

Nice view on the winding Ourthe at the beginning of the climb. Some grainy tarmac makes this climb feel more difficult than it really is, in warm weather little shelter
