Not terrible but boring and a fairly busy road. Road surface is top, percentages nowhere challenging. From Awan you can take the Route de Hoyemont (towards Oneux), this is a nice and quiet road that climbs for a while.
Niet verschrikkelijk maar wel saai en een vrij drukke weg. Wegdek is top, percentages nergens uitdagend. Vanaf Awan kun je wel de Route de Hoyemont (richting Oneux) inslaan, dit is een mooie en rustige weg die nog even doorklimt.
The Côte d'Awan is a good warm-up. It is the kind of climb you start your trip with: not too difficult, but still annoying because it is your first one. It is a big track with lots of traffic. As soon as you turn off the road towards Harzé, it becomes a bit quieter. The top of the climb is at the church of Awan.
De Côte d'Awan is een goede opwarmer. Zo'n klim waarmee je je tocht begint: niet te lastig, maar toch vervelend omdat het je eerste is. Het is een grote baan met veel verkeer. Vanaf je wegdraait van de weg richting Harzé, wordt het iets rustiger. De top van de klim ligt aan het kerkje van Awan.
Part of Liège-Bastogne-Liège, but not a rated climb of the race. It's also in the early stages, so it's never on TV.
It's just the big road from Aywaille to Awan - not much to it + quite a lot of traffic.
Maakt deel uit van Luik-Bastenaken-Luik, maar is geen gecatalogeerde klim van de wedstrijd. Ligt ook helemaal in de aanvangsfase, dus komt nooit op TV.
Is gewoon de grote baan van Aywaille naar Awan - niet veel aan + vrij veel verkeer.
