Not a good climb... There is a lot of traffic on the road, and unlike other climbs in the area, the view over the Meuse valley is almost always obstructed by vegetation. Unless you get off your bike and walk a bit, because at the top you can have a great view of the castle of Freyr which borders the Meuse.
Montée plutôt à déconseiller... Le trafic routier est très important sur la route, et contrairement à d'autres montées dans le coin, la vue sur la vallée de la Meuse est presque tout le temps obstruée par de la végétation. A moins de descendre de vélo et de marcher un peu, car au sommet on peut avoir une superbe vue sur le château de Freyr qui borde la Meuse
A tight climb where you can ride up at a good pace. For those who prefer not to step off their bike, there is not much to see here, because from the road you can't see much and it is also quite busy with very fast moving through traffic. However, those who are willing to dismount at the top and walk 50 meters through the forest towards the cliffs of Freyr will be rewarded with one of the best views in Belgium.
Een strakke klim waarop je goed tempo omhoog kan rijden. Wie liever niet van zijn fiets stapt heeft hier verder niet zoveel te zoeken, want vanaf de weg zie je weinig en het is bovendien vrij druk met zeer snel rijdend doorgaand verkeer. Wie boven echter wel even wil afstappen en 50tal meter door het bos richting de kliffen van Freyr wil lopen wordt beloond met één van de beste uitzichten van België.
