Côte Albert Lambert is no picnic, although it's on the banks of the Seine and winds its way between the pretty limestone cliffs of the village of La Bouille, the main thing you remember about climbing this hill is how difficult it is: the first 300 metres at 17％ with perhaps as much as 24％ on the bend. In the middle there are perhaps a few metres of flats. However, this isn't enough to take the wind out of the sails as we head for the last 200 metres, which is almost as daunting. . It's worth noting that the climb is signposted as a one-way street in both directions, so it's officially off-limits to bikes, although you're unlikely to come across any. I would recommend this climb to anyone who can enjoy the steepest climbs. It is in fact the second hardest in absolute terms in Normandy. But this one is really worth the diversions.
Côte Albert Lambert n'est pas une partie de plaisir, bien qu'elle se situe en bord de Seine et serpente entre les jolie falaise calcaire du village de la Bouille, la principale chose que l'on retient en montant cette côte ces à quelle point elle est difficile: 300 premier mètre à 17％ avec peut-être jusqu'à 24％ dans le virage. Au milieu on a peut-être quelque mètre de replats. Cependant cela ne suffit pas pour souffler en vue des 200 dernier mètre, presque aussi redoutable. . On peut noter que la monté est marqué sens interdit dans les deux sens, donc elle est officiellement interdit aux vélos. Mais en réalité il y a très peu de chance de croiser une voiture donc aucun risque. Je recommande cette monté à tous ce qui arrive à prendre du plaisir à faire les montés les plus raides. Elle est en effet la deuxième plus dure en absolu en Normandie. Mais, celle-ci vaux vraiment le détour.
