Poi da un leggero momento di respiro prima dell ultima parte nel bosco dove si alternano tornanti prossimi al 9/10％. Traffico quasi zero, ed era sabato. Vista suggestiva. Ho trovato un cancello chiuso ma poteva essere l'arrivo, dove c'è una panchina panorama

The climb starts in Porto Ronco (below Ronco sopra Ascona) and is not too difficult in the first part. Alternatively, you can climb from Ascona, via Monte Verità or Losone, via Arcegno. All alternatives lead to the flatter road (via Livurcio) overlooking the Lago Maggiore.
Then the "real" part begins, which, after the first hairpin bends between the houses, climbs quickly and the gradient hardly drops below 10 ％ any more. Traffic is practically absent.
One kilometre from the end there is a barrier, but with the bike you can continue, even if the road narrows and the condition of the asphalt becomes worse.
