Heb deze beklimming gedaan (onderste stuk voor Corney iets anders) tijdens een tour in het Lake District. Zoals alle klimmen hier zitten er stevige steile stukken in, maar niet vergelijkbaar met bijvoorbeeld Hardknott pass. Wegdek prima. Niet al te brede weg, met niet al te veel verkeer wat wel stevig kan doorrijden. Mooie aan deze klim is het prachtige uitzicht op het Engelse landschap met muurtjes, heggen en heide, en de Ierse Zee en bij helder weer de Isle of Man in de verte.
