The best part of the climb breaks when you turn left for the last 2.5 kilometres of the climb. These are the most difficult but also the most beautiful kilometres with the necessary hairpins. No cars're officially allowed here either. Don't count on complete rest though, the tourist vans are allowed up and they drive up and up. You get a bit of the Stelvio madness feeling. At the top, the reward awaits and you can almost touch Cristo Redentor, so to speak.
