Nice steady climb of about 8 ％ mostly through forest, with occasional views. The last few hundred metres are off limits to cars. On the col you have nice views towards the mountains on the French border. The asphalt road ends and turns into paths and dirt roads. Along the way every kilometre there is a sign indicating how tough the coming kilometre is and how many more kilometres to the summit.
Mooie gelijkmatige beklimming van vrijwel de hele tijd zo'n 8 ％ grotendeels door bos, met af en toe een uitzicht. De laatste paar honderd meter is niet voor auto's toegankelijk. Op de col heb je mooi uitzicht richting de bergen op de Franse grens. De asfaltweg houdt op en gaat over in paden en onverharde wegen. Onderweg elke kilometer een bordje dat aangeeft hoe zwaar de komende kilometer is en hoe veel kilometer nog naar de top.
