Salita lunga e pedalabile, vista aperta e poca ombra. I tornanti a metà salita sono ravvicinati e per certi versi affascinanti, alcuni lunghi drittoni sono invece più noiosi. Dal Colle si raggiunge l'Alta Valle Scrivia e salire verso Torriglia o scendere verso Montoggio e Casella per un giro ad anello, altrimenti merita anche arrivare in cima e tornare indietro per chiudere un giro corto ma impegnativo! In discesa non certo il migliore asfalto della Liguria ma nemmeno tra i peggiori!
