Challenging ascent on a wide lorry road to Piancavallo. Magnificent views over the Friulian plain. Be careful on the descent because high speeds can be reached.
Impegnativa ascesa su ampia strada camionabile con arrivo a Piancavallo. Magnifiche vedute sulla pianura friulana. Prestare attenzione scendendo perché si possono raggiungere punte di velocità elevate.
Long and demanding ascent, steep slopes in the first 2 km and at 6/7 km then the road climbs very gradually without too many tears. In summer, start the climb early as almost all of it is sunny.
Salita lunga e impegnativa, pendenze ripide nei primi 2 km e al 6/7 km poi la strada sale molto graduale senza troppi strappi. In estate iniziare la salita presto poichè quasi tutta in battuta di sole.
