A good alternative for going to Mount Penice from Varzi, it allows you to do a few passes (Colle Crocetta, but also the Pietragavina pass) on relatively untravelled roads. The view of Pietragavina is spectacular once you pass the pass in the direction of Colle Crocetta. Quite an exposed climb, and therefore the best time of year is spring or autumn.
Valida alternativa per andare al monte Penice da Varzi, consente di fare qualche colle (Colle Crocetta, ma anche il passo di Pietragavina) in strade relativamente poco trafficate. Spettacolare la vista di Pietragavina una volta passato il passo in direzione del Colle Crocetta. Salita parecchio esposta e quindi periodo migliore primavera o autunno.
