In the (quite unsuccessful) Spanish project to create a through (freight) link between San Sebastian and the Mediterranean, the N260 is being straightened a bit every few years. As a result, the Puerto de Foradada is now a depressingly tight straight tarmac lane to have to slog up against full in the sun. It is just such'a stretch that there is no decent little road and so you are condemned to the main road. It is a very quiet road though, but that is the only positive.... read more
