Absolutely worth it, this gorgeous road along the coast. Climb itself is very doable, I did it at the beginning of a very long day ('The big daddy' search Google) and therefore very leisurely and early in the day. Then very quiet in terms of traffic, and nice views due to clear weather. Asphalt on the descent did get a bit worse.
Absoluut de moeite waard, deze schitterende weg langs de kust. Klim zelf is heel goed te doen, ik deed hem aan het begin van een erg lange dag ('The big daddy', zoek op Google) en daardoor erg rustig aan en vroeg op de dag. Toen erg rustig qua verkeer, en mooie uitzichten door helder weer. Asfalt in de afdaling is wel wat slechter.
From Andratx towards Estellencs, on the scenic Ma-10. Views over the valley, and on top you'll finally see the ocean. Exposed so can be hot and/or windy. Wide roads, good surface. The descent towards Es Grau has great views, but road surface is less comfortable. The attached photos are from the north side of the top so are not part of this ascent from Andratx.
Maybe not the most beautiful climb of Mallorca, but once you get to the top you'll find out it was worth it. Here you follow the Ma-10 to Banyalbufar for almost 20 km. This road undulates and meanders along the beautiful rocky coast. For me absolutely the most beautiful road I have come across on Mallorca. If you're not careful you'll stop every few hundred metres to take a picture of the magnificent view over the azure sea.

Misschien niet de mooiste klim van Mallorca, maar als je eenmaal boven bent kom je erachter dat het de moeite waard is geweest. Je volgt hier bijna 20 km de Ma-10 naar Banyalbufar. Deze weg golft en slingert langs de prachtige rotsachtige kust. Voor mij absoluut de mooiste weg waarover ik ben gekomen op Mallorca. Als je niet oppast sta je om de paar honderd meter stil om weer een foto te maken van het schitterende uitzicht over de azuurblauwe zee.
De foto's zijn dus niet van de klim zelf, maar van wat daarna komt.
