Descent from the other side of the climb towards the sea is insanely cool and wonderfully long. The best in the region as far as I'm concerned. The climb forms the last climb of the Gran Fondo Contador, which is always ridden in the region in September.
Afdaling van de andere kant van de klim richting zee is waanzinnig gaaf en heerlijk lang. De mooiste in de regio wat mij betreft. De klim vormt de laatste klim van de Gran Fondo Contador die altijd in september in de regio wordt gereden.
This is a top climb for several reasons: the climb is short but tough, the climb is quiet, the climb takes you along stunning views and the climb is marked with kilometre signs. The road surface is good, there is some traffic but not disturbing. Do not forget to stop just before the top at the viewpoint where you can look into the gorge!
Dit is om meerdere reden een topklim: de klim is kort maar pittig, de klim is rustig, de klim voert je langs oogverblindende uitzichten en de klim is voorzien van kilometerbordjes. Het wegdek is prima, verkeer is er wel maar niet storend. Vergeet niet om vlak voor de top even bij het uitzichtpunt te stoppen waar je de kloof in kunt kijken!
