Very enjoyable climb. Roads are perfect and infrequently trafficked. Excellent views as you climb out of the valley, which can often be misty while just above the sun cuts through. Very hard to judge in terms of difficulty as it really feels like two steeper sections connected by many kilometers of false flat.
From the beautiful medieval village of Romainmôtier, the little-travelled route climbs gently through typical Jura countryside. An attractive alternative to the classic Mollendruz climbs.
