A very straight climb. Be careful not to go too fast, as the last kilometre is very tough! An emblematic pass in the region.
Montée très rectiligne. Attention à ne pas partir trop vite car le dernier km est très dur ! Col emblématique de la région.

Actually, it's all about the last kilometre of the climb. And it is terribly steep. After the first half (which was going well) I went much too fast, which made the last kilometre deadly. You are happy when you reach the top!
Eigenlijk gaat het om de laatste kilometer van de klim. En die is verschrikkelijk steil. Ik na de eerste helft (die wel lekker liep) veel te snel waardoor die laatste kilometer dodelijk was. Je bent blij als je boven bent!
From distant memories, in the 90's, I climbed it during the classic Monts de La Madeleine hike, the last part was excruciatingly hard, with the gears of the time I had to grit my teeth to avoid the feet on the ground.
