In my opinion, there is so much better in the area that I was disappointed. The small road is nice but after the landscapes of the pass of La Chaudière, it is thin.

I did it again today and added some photos.
But yesterday the road surface was still perfect and today they have put loose gravel here and there to prevent asphalt from smearing. It is a real pain to cycle, even with a mountain bike. The climb is varied over its entire length because the steeper parts are alternated with the better going parts so that you can regularly catch your breath and regain speed.

Nice climb which I did several times in 2020. It starts in Bourdeau and the first few hundred meters go up slowly. After the first few turns, the percentages start to increase for a good km. But 500 meters before the village centre, if you can even call it that, it goes uphill again. In the center of the village it's almost flat but once passed the little castle it gets steeper again but never really steep. Beautiful surroundings and friendly people along the way. The only traffic on the way are some tourists for camping Le Couspeau, a fantastic camping where we stayed in 2020 and a good starting point for many nice bike rides and only 5 km. from the col de la Chaudiere.
Due to its limited length and varying percentages it's a real must for the lover of not too long and extremely steep climbs.

Road is decent, not too much traffic. Some steep bits, but enough opportunities to take the pressure off your legs on this climb.
