Hello, first hrs category for me with my 10kg Gravel. I set off on 15 December and it snowed a few days before.
I went from Noyarey to saint egreve to warm up on the flat and then started the climb up the mountain. Wet and cold all the way. I was warned. The laces of the monta are steep but if you take it easy it's a smooth ride. Quaix. Then this descent in the fog that froze me. I'm riding in the shade on a cold December morning, and the sun will only shine towards the summit. In the meantime, things are going pretty well up to Sarcenas where I personally need to relaunch regularly because I'm getting tired. We pass Palaquit and then another 2.5 km to the Col de Porte.
The ascent was made without too much heart to discover.
Hello premier hôrs catégorie pour moi avec mon Gravel de 10kg. Départ le 15 décembre il a neigé quelques jours avant .
Températures négatives en bas : je vais de Noyarey à saint egreve pour m’échauffer sur le plat et je démarre la montée à la monta . Humide et froid tout le long . J étais prévenu . Les lacets de la monta sont raides mais en y allant tranquille ça passé velours . Quaix. Puis cette descente dans le brouillard qui me glace . Je roule à l ombre un matin froid de décembre , et le soleil sera seulement vers le sommet . En attendant ça s enchaîne plutôt bien jusqu à sarcenas ou perso j ai besoin de relancer régulièrement car la fatigue arrive . Passage de palaquit puis pour 2,5 km de plus direction le col de porte .

This route is in fact a much longer but quieter variant of the access to the Porte pass: the Palaquit pass is about 2,5 km before the Porte pass, on the main road coming from Grenoble itself. Much shorter, and intermediate between the two, is the access to Palaquit by the Col de Clémencières, which joins this route at about km 9.
Itinéraire qui est en fait une variante bien plus longue mais beaucoup plus tranquille de l'accès au col de Porte : le col de Palaquit se trouve environ 2,5 km avant le col de Porte, sur la route principale venant de Grenoble même. Bien plus courte, et intermédiaire entre les deux question fréquentation, est l'accès à Palaquit par le col de Clémencières, qui rejoint cet itinéraire-ci vers le km 9.
