The start isn't very interesting, with a lot of traffic (motorway entrance), but the first 2 km can be avoided by taking quiet forest roads.
It becomes more interesting from Glainans onwards.
There are other, more pleasant alternatives for getting to the Col de Ferrière (via Tournedoz).
Le début n'est pas très intéressant, ça circule pas mal (entrée d'autoroute), mais les 2 premiers km peuvent être évités par des routes forestières tranquilles.
Cela devient plus intéressant à partir de Glainans.
